Andy, born in Bavaria/Germany, developed a passion for music at the early age of six. He was enrolled to the local music school for classical guitar first, and a passion for other instruments such as drums and percussion, bass and piano grew on him in the following years. Since he’s first stage appearance at the age of 9, it was then clear for him to dedicate his life to music and become a performing artist. During is formal years in High School, Andy was mentored and educated  by  an excellent team of teachers which ultimately lead to receiving an opportunity to study Jazz and Popular Music at the Vienna Conservatory, Austria.

Andy has been working as a drum & percussion, guitar and bass educator for the past 29 years. His concept and method has helped hundreds of students across Europe and Australia.

Throughout his career Andy had the opportunity to be part of many projects, productions, recordings and concerts across Europe and Australia. One of his trademark is the variety of performing styles such as Jazz, Rock, Fusion, Metal, Reggae, Ska, Latin, Funk, Country and Drum & Bass.

Besides being a passionate and dedicated musician and mentor, Andy also holds a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering. Since 2020, Andy is the founder and owner of SoundMix Studios.
