I stumbled across Andy Binder while searching online for a session drummer, and was immediately blown away by his precision and feel. Although I knew I'd found the drummer I was looking for, I was a little hesitant about using someone I'd never physically jammed with to play on the record. However, my uncertainties were put to rest when speaking on the phone to Andy... he is the nicest guy who took me through the process with professionalism and minimal fuss. When I received the final recordings, I was blown away! I didn't require a single change in his arrangements, the sound quality was stunning, and the 'love' he put into his playing really raised the bar of where each subsequent player on the album needed to be.
