Andy, born in Bavaria/Germany, developed a passion for music at the early age of six, enrolled to the local music school program for drums & percussion, guitar, bass and piano, and has been performing on stage since the age of nine. Later on, Andy was given the opportunity to study Jazz and Popular Music at the Vienna Conservatory, Austria.

Andy has been working as a drum & percussion, guitar and bass educator for the past 28 years. His concept and method has helped hundreds of students across Europe and Australia.

Throughout his career Andy had the opportunity to be part of many projects, productions, recordings and concerts across Europe and Australia. One of his trademark is the variety of performing styles such as Jazz, Rock, Fusion, Metal, Reggae, Ska, Latin, Funk, Country and Drum & Bass.

Besides being a passionate and dedicated musician and mentor, Andy also holds a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering. Since 2020, Andy is the founder and owner of SoundMix Studios.
